Oracle Arena is an indoor arena located in Oakland, California, United States, and is the home of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The arena opened in 1966 and is the oldest arena in the NBA.
Oracle Arena followed suit in June 1996 with a $100 million renovation. This project involved the absolute demolition and concurrent redecorate of the building’s interior. Capacity was increased by more than 4,000 to a maximum of 19,200 occupancy, plus 72 luxury suites and three exclusive clubs were added.
The newly renovated Oracle Arena and Oakland Alameda County Coliseum sit on 132 acres with an ample 10,000 on-site parking spaces. Currently managed by AEG Facilities, the venues are easily accessible by both highway and public transportation and are complete with a pedestrian bridge which allows guests direct access to the venues from the Coliseum BART station.
